Here's one for the forum:What's the best faction to make a Brotherhood Pact with, if any? Obviously this is subjective from game to game, but I'd love to hear what you peeps have to say. Talk amongst yourselves. Vklemfpt, MrSparkle

I hate pacting with UoP because then I can't probe team them to steal all their tech, although they aren't too bad a partner. For me, Santiago makes a great, although rare partner. I only managed to get a long term alliance with her once because she was being pressed hard by Yang and Miriam. She is a great warrior, and I love paying her money and tech to beat up our enemies while I continue my merry way towards economic or transcendence victory. Miriam is a dope, and frankly I don't think I have ever had a pact with her. Lal, is also a great and common brother of mine. Double votes is a great boon. He is undoubtedly my pick with regards to keeping all factors in mind (i.e. ease of getting a pact, desire to have the pact, usefulness as a pact brother, etc). Yang doesn't like me, just like Miriam. He would make a poor brother anyway, since left to expand he is too dangerous. Morgan is also suprisingly hostile for somebody who would think would love trade agreements. But I don't have much experience with him since I in fact play the Morganites 95+% of the time. Ive not played too many games yet, but in one of em i had Miriam as a pact sister, gave her a few techs and told her to go beat up the hive. She did, and was very useful too with her attack bonus, but got too powerful, so had to end that alliance. Good thing she doesnt have a defence bonus :P Burns |

Yang has been the best ally I've had as Diedre, he likes to give me units to play with, although this can cause support problems at times.Miriam has been a great "submissive" ally for me twice. I wouldn't trust either her OR Santiago as a regular pact brother, myself. Santiago: Please attack my enemy, you tree-crazy freak. Diedre: mmm...Okay, sister. Santiago, after I'm completely committed to a UN war: I can't believe how gullible you are. Your eco-freak followers make me sick, die, die, die! Diedre: D'oh! |

Good input, all.I've found (playing almost exclusively as Peacekeepers) that my most beneficial relationships are with Deirdre's Gaian's, but the easiest Pact to maintain is the Morganites. They rarely ask for anything, rarely (if ever) get pissed at me, but aren't all that forthcoming with aid. But he always votes for me |
