Jeffrey has kindly responded to several threads, indicating that various problems are fixed in "the next update." Anybody heard when the next update is supposed to be available?
I was semi-holding my breath for last Friday, but that came and went and my probe teams are still fairly useless (v. 2.0). Of course, I'm still waiting for a new episode of "Moonlighting"!

Why are your Probe Teams useless? I've found mine to be fairly effective. My only problem is I forget to use them as frequently as the AI does!

Fenris, since applying the v. 2.0 update my probe teams have not had the option of implicating any other faction. Consequently, I am always to blame, and cannot effectively steal energy, sabotage production, et cetera, unless I am already at Vendetta. This problem has been reported by others (including the ability to blame factions which have been eliminated) and Jeffrey indicated that they were working on it for the next update. Hence this thread.
