Look, You've had a weak for slightly modifying the .EXE file and zipping it up, so where is it? It doesn't seem very "High Priority" to me! (I need the custom map size to be able to create that Square-shaped Arrakis Map...)

Hey, cut 'em some slack. There are things I would like to see fixed too. But they were very quick with their first patch, and these things do take time. The code change itself might only take 30 minutes, but it has to be tested, then compiled into a patch file, then the patch file itself has to be tested. Think of the crap they would catch if they screwed up everybody's game with a patch. Then there is the problem of "wait, just one more thing before we compile the patch." You want to fix as many things as possible, but you don't want to release patches every other day either. Yes, it could be perfected here and there, but at least it works right out of the box, which is more than can be said for some recent disasters which shall remain nameless (by me, at least). |

I'm talking of the localised versions of the first patch. That shouldn't be so hard, should it? |

I tend to agree with tOFfGI here. The UK patch especially should require very little modification from the US patch from my understanding. I am glad that I finally got the game tho', good job Firaxis! |

The issue is a technical one, and one that has not been solved yet. We need to satisfy 3 different goals, and until we can, we can't release any foreign patchs. If it makes any difference, the US players had to wait about week as well..jkm firaxis games |
