Hi Folks,
Should I buy the German Version now, or wait until a non bug infected version is available ?
The German version has just been launched here in Switzerland.
Can somebody tell me, if the german version has some bugs (hope not, but expect yes) or not ?

Well I got a Dutch version, and the only thing Dutch about it was:
the box
a small installation guide
a small manual
the manual and the game are 100% English. Probably UK version.
Maybe this is the same for the German version.
Bought a German Master Of Orion, game was English, only the manual and the box were German.

Everything has been translated in the German version and the translation is quite good.
It doesn�t seem as if there are more bugs in there than in the US version (patch 2.0 in German will be coming soon).
It would be certainly no mistake to buy the German version, if you can stand the German language.

Yeah, witt is right.
There are a few funny translations (Psychoviren instead of Mindworms) but I don't think that's very important. And I didn't more bug's than already reported in this forum!
Buy it and have fun!

Definitely yes.
I own it and it ist translated very well!
The voices are also well done.
Much better than Baldur's Gate or so.

I bought it. Excellent game, but with a huge map, there is to much time to calculate the other players move.

I bought the German version and IMHO the lacalizatioin is quite good. But I bought it only since the English was sold out.
I personally would prefer the English version since you get patches early.
I still have in mind the update disaster of the German Civ II...
