Yessss,
today at 11am I grabbed the box at my local store.
The translation of the in-game text is somewhat clumsy (well we have mind-viruses instead of worms), but the speech is nice and the manual is just excellent.
I just hope all you other European SMAC fans have your own copy now!

Wow!! I was really excited all day. i finished at university at about 4pm and went to town directly to my sofware dealer. if i hadn�t called yesterday to hold back a copy for me i wouldn�t have it right now!!! he just got a small number of copies from ea (why the hell?)...
to all, i�m really satisfied about the quality of the german speech and the quiet good translation (and for me it doesn�t really matter destroying "mind-viruses" or worms.
i love it )))))

todd: i got it from theo kranz games in wuerzburg (this shop has been nominated for best comp game deliverer in germany last year by some magazines - hope i�m right in that).

I got mine at Gamestore/Lueneburg (a desperately small town south of Hamburg, but the store is quite good, cos they got it)

I didn�t mean to make the translation more worse than it is (it is not bad), but it could be a bit better. By the way we have this great manual to deal with...
I am also eager to hear from other European guys if they got their copy (UK, France,...)
So far the game is just great, now the only thing I want is the German Patch, but I can wait for this one!
