Forgive me but I'm a newbie - how do you group units so you don't have to move each one individualy?

Yeah i havn't used this one much and have had problems with it. it has something to do with the j key and shift + j. Hopefully refreshing your posts sombody else can help you out

When your units are togethr just hit SHIFT+J ans select the appropriate options for your group select when the screen pops up. and then when you want to move the whole group just move your cursor to your desitination and hold down your mouse button and hit J, all fo your selected units will go to the new location on thier movement turns.

One important thing to remember when moving groups:
When you click and hold the mouse button to select a destination for the group, you push the J key. DON'T HOLD DOWN THE J KEY. Just tap it, or it won't work most of the time. That drove me crazy for the longest time.
Now, if we just had a few options for group movement, such as "End your movement turn at end of movement", or "Go to sentry mode at end of movement" etc. Would make life easier instead of hitting spacebar 30 times before an attack.
