if i can choose one thing about smac that i love it is the seven unique factions. they offer different styles and strategies, which makes for a lot of game playing. the storyline is different with each one, to make it feel as if you really are leading the faction on planet. there might just be some technicalities with the differences with them (one gets a bonus for energy, one for research, etc) but that is overcome by the game truly making an excellent effort to make them as individual as possible. people like starcraft cause it offers three unique races. smac is just like that, only it offers seven. and it is better so why do you like smac? |
