What technology do you need to build bunkers. I'm far more advanced then all my computer opponets technologically yet they all have bunker installations. By the way i'm playing as a morganite. Is there some sort of restriction that doesn't allow morganites to build bunkers ? if so what other obscure restrictions are there for other factions ?

technically, it is adv. mil algorytms.
But I have noticed them appearing before the should as well. (for myself as well) However, i need to research this a bit more.

its the auto formres, they are really smart
they can even build stuff on mount planet that you can't aren't they great

hehe.. yeah.. in my game, one of yang's formers built a sensor array right smack-dab on top of Mount Planet. Pretty funny actually. =)

You think that's impressive? I saw Morgan build an entire city on the very top lava square of Mount Planet. Talk about central heating...

Is that strange?
Actually, in a Morgan Demo play, I actually saw the formers prepare the bunker, when they were on the Automatic mode(Shift+A),and once I spotted the computer builded bunker on Gaian territory, who aren't lean and mean in military research.

*Sigh* another SMAC bug. Have any of you checked the Troubleshoot forum? There are alot of bugs that are bothering alot of people. To name a few: bombing run bug, former bug (duh), Multiplayer bug (can't start MP, DVD-rom bug (just to name a few I said).
Don't flame, no game is perfect, but this game does have a few too many. (
P.S. If I had a nickel everytime Jeff Moris, said "look for it in the next patch" I'd be stinkin' rich. Anyway I love game, and I am just complaining.
