![]() ![]() ![]() When you have a Air Superiority NeedleJet on standby in a base it will automatically move to intercept enemy aircraft attacking any unit within 2 squares. It however uses no fuel to do so, so you have a needle jet already air-borne with two full moves of fuel still loaded. While this is nice, it appears to me to be incorrect. I have not yet tried this with choppers, and it of course doesn't apply to gravships. |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'll check it out. If you have save that illustrates it, send it to me at [email protected]. Detail anything I'll need to do to get it to occur. Thanks again. jkm firaxis games |

![]() ![]() ![]() I'm at work so getting hold of a save is difficult ![]() I was experiemnting, easy difficulty, tiny map. Hive, just one city for the whole game. Supply crawlers and formers scattered around the base, a air-to-air fighter in the base waiting for the the Morgan/Miriam air assaults (they had ganged up on me, Miriam had already killed the other four factions). The enemy bombers would show up, my fighter would auto move and shoot them down (well the first one anyway...), the next turn would start and I would have a needlejet hovering over a former with a full load of fuel. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Actually, I have noticed this with 'normal' needlejets (w/o Air Superiority) I put a few on 'Alert' and they attacked some units at sea (which btw were more than 2 squares out) - when I went to redirect them/look at them - they had 20/20 movement, even though they had just flown out and attacked...! Is this by design? |
