Please tell me this ain't true!!!!!!! How long must I keep playing the demo version!!!!
I CAN'T TAKE THIS ANYLONGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
TWO WHOLE MONTHS!!!!!!! Any other game would be considered TO OLD TO BUY!!!!!
A local softwareshop told me the dutch release of SMAC would be in MAY. How can that be, the game doesn't need to be translated most games here are the english or US version.
Firaxis please tell me that I don't have to wait 2 more months to play the full version!!!!

May? Yuck... if that were true, I'd suggest a quick (okay, not so quick) jaunt through the Chunnel, or something. Surely they don't need to do a translation... when I was in Leiderdorp (and surrounding areas) last year, I met only one Dutchman that didn't speak English.

Is the versions we buy in sweden english?

Probably yes. As far as I know it only has been tranlated in French and German

Magnus, in Uppsala (Sweden) stores say that SMAC will be in 1999-02-18. They have been known to be off a day or two, but I am keeping this weekend free for SMACing.

Called another store today, they said they expect SMAC on the 19th of feb.

NOOOO it's NOT TRUE. I bought it yesterday (feb 16) in AMSTERDAM!!! Computercollectief at the Amstel. Good luck.
