Is there any tech to build a spaceship like in Civilization I & II in SMAC? I've beat it once now with the Spartans by killing off every other faction but was wondering if there was a way to leave the planet, thanks.

No spaceship, but there is something
analagous to it. Without spoiling the game
lets just say its the most expensive
secret project (now you can just look
through the secret projects in the datalinks)
