I really wish there was a user friendly faction editor. Master of Orion for instance ruled because you could customize exactly how you wanted your civilization to be, with a good interface and good balance. For AC, you have to get dirty with the text files, and as far as I can tell there is no way to stop you from creating an obviously superior faction. Is an actual faction editor ever going to be released?
