Just got the game, and the worms are now little sprite squiggles, instead of the oatmeal cookies I've grown to know and love from the demo. Can I get them back?

This is all conjecture, as I do nt have the full game yet, but with a program like Paint Shop Pro you could probably edit units.gif or whatever it is and replace the current graphics with the old ones. Assuming the old ones are in the file, but thgis is probably likely 'cuz they usually leave alternate graphics in there |

Yeah...I liked those discs too. I think it actually looks more like a threatening mass than a a couple of pieces of string tied together. I do like how the picutre changes as the mindworms advance in lifecycle.I was reading the manual and I hit the part about fauna. I think it mentioned that the mindworm life expectancy is quite short. Does that mean the mindworms can die on you due to old age? |

No, because a mind worm boil is mass of worms that are constantly hatching, breeding, and dying. |

I forgot to mention that the Isles of the Deep still have the classic oatmeal cookie look. Ugh, if there's one thing I can't stand, it's a soggy cookie. |

Yeah, and the Isles are NOT sprites, but the full rotating thingies, like all the other units.Same problem with the alien artifacts. Used to look mysterious, now they look like mutated toasters (and don't match the little rendered scene anymore) |
