I bought SMAC on Wednesday and haven't been able to stop playing yet! It has got to be the best strategy game I've ever played! I've probably put 15-25 hours into the game so far and haven't found any major complaints. Minor complaints? Yes...I had the game crash twice on me when viewing Secret Project Movies, this was late into the game and it activated the autorun feature on the cd and activated multiple instances of the game. Also, I wish I could use the high-res graphics, but they're just too slow...even on a 266 with 96MB of RAM. Other than that, however, I've found no problems with the GAME itself. I'm truly impressed! Keep up the great work Firaxis!

Thanks for the kind words. Pickup the v2.0 download and you might find the higher rez units more to your liking.
