I must admit I bought this game and loved it immediately however one glaring problem instantly came to my attention. I am red-green color blind and as a result it makes the tiles very hard for me to interpret. Is there any hope of an update/patch so that people like myself can enjoy this game as others do.

I think Firaxis metioned that either a patch, or just some additional option, would be implemented for the colorblind.
Try checking in the preferences, I think there's a section in there that deals with those things.

We're got a alternate collection of art for color blind individuals. We're trying to get it posted as soon as we can.
