Greetings folks,I have not posted anything until now because I've been content with reading through the wide assortment of messages. However, the time is now upon us, the game is making its way to our local store shelves - now the diplomatic relations begin!
I am not talking about diplomacy within the game, heavens no... I'm talking about diplomacy on the home front! If you're married or have a live-in partner, then you know exactly where I am coming from!
A new game is in, hours upon hours of game time will pull you away from showing your better half the attention he or she requires. I'd like to know what you do to appease, or better yet, involve your partner(s). Hehe...
I am lucky that my better half enjoys playing her own games so we tend to work things out. But I've heard some horror stories - many I personally find hilarious. Tell us, how do you handle your diplomatic relations with your loved ones as you attempt to get as many hours of game time in as you can?
Regards,
Strategist
P.S. - I am picking up my copy today if they have any left in stock... I'd love to get a group together (those who know that time is precious) who might be able to play some good strategic (non-rush) style games.
