Have you beaten SMAC for the first time yet, how did you do it, how many turns did it take, who were you, etc.?

JT, don't take offense, but as a battle-scarred vet of the old forums, I think this will (hopefully) get very few responses. Why?

You created a long, scrolling message that will cause horizontal rules to appear on everyone's screen with a resolution less than 1024, which is a lot of people.

Second, you don't have much to go on from that. Inspired lunacy is only funny when taken seriously. "Amen Brother Greg," alas now long gone, should be required reading of all who read this forum. By posting a rant on those types of threads, you show that you aren't a true believer.

Third, your "real" subject has been discussed to death in the demo, when lots of people beat that topic to death. It's also extraordinarily broad.

Now that I've said all this, you'll probably get 60 replies, but all the better then, eh? And my first post- waaaay back in July, was a response from the esteemed Brother Greg that "there is a topic already discussing this in another forum." So don't feel bad!

And my prediction about 100 reposnses coming in after this will probably turn out to be true now.
