Just a theory-- Was the artifact unaccompanied when your ally stole it? Is he escorting it when you try to steal it back?I haven't tested this, but-- it could be that if the artifact is all by itself, anyone can move onto it (capturing it from you) without breaking the treaty. But if your ally has the artifact stacked with one of his units, you can't capture the artifact without killing its escort-- which would certainly break the treaty. |

>>Audrey Two: yes it works that way. For some reason it's perfectly free of consequences to stal each others artifacts. I think it should be changed/fixed.

i think it is fine the way it is. if you have an artifact, escort it. STACKED. when an unstacked artifact is next to another faction's unit, it gets captured. i had a former making a farm, when much to my supprize, one of the other factions moved an artifact next to my former. the former captured the artifact, sustained 10% damage, and continued building unimpeaded or interrupted. post a few garrisons in t your pact faction's territory and grab as many as you can! bruhahahahaha

The computer might be too stupid to figure it out, but when I start playing multiplayer, I am going to make stealing artifact a declaration of war, anybody who STEALS any of MY artifact, are going to discover a planetbuster up their a.. .
