On Best Buy's homepage I saw C:CTP is already on sale, while SMAC was not listed. Is it their mistake, or were they misinformed? |

i called Best Buy today, they had never heard of SMAC. I even had to spell the name before they could check. Think i am gonna shop elsewhere. |

No, I checked Best Buy last night and their inventory computer said the 15th. I don't know if they will suddenly appear, though, as it seems other games have. I forgot to ask the price, sorry. It's under "Sid Me"--this is all they need to know. |

Best Buy wouldn't call it SMAC, they'd call it Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or maybe just Alpha Centauri. I'm sure they will carry it, and I'm sure it will be the best buy. |

Yeah.. they probably wouldn't record it at Best Buy as "SMAC" since that isn't the name of it.  |

I'll wait then, maybe make it a double purpose trip. I've been waiting for sc3k for a while now... But of course Smac takes priority. |

I was REALLY disappointed with SC3K, especially after the cool alpha that they had at E3 a couple of years ago. This game should have been named SC2.5. |

I used to work at Best Buy and they actually tend to get most new games fairly late. I already picked up my copy SMAC at Electronics Boutique for $44.99 Hugh |

*off topic* Ubergeek: Yeah, the original version of sc3k would probably run fine on many people's systems now, considering most people's hardware specs. |

And I found out at activision.com that CIVILIZATION: CALL TO POWER comes out MAR 15th not earlier????? |

When I went by Best Buy they told me that Alpha Centauri was coming out on March 15, thats why I go to EB. |
