i did the right research but research hospitals still did not show up in the production list. How come?

Certain units and buildings were not included in the demo. Research hospitals is one of them.

I thought they were 2nd/3rd level upgrades, like:
library/university/research lab
marketplace/bank/stock exchange

Even with a network node and biology lab, research hospitals are not available. If it is a 2nd level improvement, I wonder what the 1st level improvement is.
