I'm afraid because I ordered the game from EA Direct-- just so I wouldn't have to think about it any more, and guess what? Now I'm really afraid that EA Direct will ship it to me on the 16th, when it's finally supposed to be in every store, just to be "official" about it, when meanwhile I could have gotten it early this week like everyone else. So much for "not having to think about it". Now I just feel like I made a mistake... but I won't make the same mistake with HOMMIII!!

Well, it is out in Australia and New Zealand, but I was referring to early this week as in the week of February 8th. It should be out on the 9th, but I get the feeling that EA Direct will be the last to ship it, in an effort to stick to their "official" release week. Just my nervous jitters for ordering from a faceless corporation... |

Wow, this is scary, considering I haven't posted here since shortly after the game came out... interestingly, another of my posts was also resurrected in here about a week ago... it was pretty freaky finding my inbox loaded with all these forum responses, when I haven't actually played the game in over three months! Cool that you remembered the thread though...as for my name, well, I was one of the few folks in the early days of the forum to be an avid Hive supporter, along with Octopus, and one other guy, whose name I've forgotten... |

Don't worry... there are still "Hiveists"  After playing a good game of +50% industry you think twice before playing another faction... Build lots of el-cheapo grav-ships using Police State/Planned/Wealth/Eudamonic, and then change over to Fundamentalist/Green/Power/Thought Control ... Wham. You are unstopable. (Why green? incase opponent has lots of mind worms) Of course, all of the grav ships are clean. TNSe |
