What hapens if I download somthing for the us version having the spanish version? In civilization 2 it worked.

Scenarios should work fine, although you may encounter some oddities in the unit workshop, if there are differences in the game patch versions.
Patches, on the other hand, will most likely not work between language localizations, since the patch modifies specific portions of the existing game files.

the ALPHA.TXT in foreign language causes the game to crash.
scenarios wothout alpha.txt modifactions should work fine.
