I would rank it so:
1. Apolyton ("http://civilization.gamestats.com/smac/")
2. SidGames' AC Nexus ("http://www.sidgames.com/ac")
3. Addicted to Alpha Centauri ("http://www.gamearena.net/addicted/acmain.htm") or ("http://come.to/addicted")
4. The Arrival ("http://ac.strategy-gaming.com/")
Does anyone have other opinions?

I pretty much agree. Some commments:
Apolyton has a miniscule files section. However, they still have enough other things to keep them at number one. BTW, their address is http://www.apolyton.net/.
Addicted to AC and The Arrival I would rate as ties. The Arrival has a bigger files and strategy section, but Addicted is updated more often, and has a poll and some other nice stuff. Of course, as co-webmaster of The Arrival, I could be a little biased ;-).

According to its name, Apolyton is a very well organized and exhaustive "CIV GAMES" site. I don't find it very interesting strictly speaking of SMAC.
Considering we saw it grow, I'm a fan of
Alpha Centauri OnLine Board, by Asian Flu

I have a site that is brand new and I think you will enjoy.
It has new scenarios and contests. The site
will give you a chance to prove how good you are. Win in the earliest year - I will post your result. Alpha Centauri score is used in case of ties.
Try it - the very easy game only lasts 17 years.

Pythagoras(our files database and hof guy) says he has some new files to post during the weekened. Also in a few days we'are opening our Hall of Fame...
Finally, we hope to have some "centaurian tales"(similar to civ2's "scribes" and ctp's "callings") soon. I'm refering to game stories of course, if you have one, mail it to [email protected]
