No jimmytrick, that is submarine radar. Actually the space based submarine detection radar. It reads the reflections of the water to make out even the slighest wakes, even those created by a sub several hundred feet below the surface. China stole the mathematical algorithms the radar used. The U.S. claims the China doesn't have the hardware to use these, we shall soon see though. Trippin Daily |

Trip - even if the Chinese could deploy RORSATS (Radar Ocean Reconnaisance), it wouldn't matter - their navy's for S***, and the ASW capability is a worse joke - anything the Chinese navy has against a single 688/I or Seawolf class sub? hehehe - I'd love to see that. Locust - the people who hang out in non SMAC aren't as interesting as the ones who hang out here, so the dark side is rebelling and putting our wandering non-SMAC threads in here instead. tfs - castrate Clinton is an oxymoron - he's already proven on numerous occasions he's got no balls. And I'm a democrat, BTW. |

I'm really waiting for somebody to start off a more outlandish presidential thread, like "Impeach Carter!" or "Audit FDR!" But this forum has slowed down alot. Not much goes on in the way of SMAC discussion, so cheap thrill threads seem to be the way to go. |
