Considering its scope, I think we need a separate section on this forum for the map/scenario editor. Tried my hand at it and produced a fairly nice map (catch it at Apolyton ... "Eden.mp") but learning curve was steep and I still have a lot of questions. For instance, does anyone know how to raise terrain? I'd like to make mountains & plateaus, etc. but can't figure how. Firaxis really needs to publish an Acrobat guide to this or something that we can download.

You can raise terrain by Ctrl-Right-Clicking with the Elevation tool selected. You pick that tool by pressing '1', or selecting it from the Edit Map menu, or by clicking on the Elevation icon on the scenario palette. It is in the upper left corner.
There _IS_ an AC Creation forum over on Apolyton at:
