Forgive me for just falling off the turnip wagon but what is SMACX? I can only assume it's an add on/expansion, but I can't seem to find any info on it other than what's been posted in these forums. What does it entail? When's the projected release? Does it have a web site?

It is the X rated version of SMAC. It has stuff like nude leader pictures, anel probe teams, and the virtual brothel SP.

You seem to miss the point, that is all that is known about SMACX right now: Nothing. Firaxis hasn't confirmed anything except that it will exist.
About the only thing that has been danced about the bush about is that there will be an additional 7 factions. But this may just be another of a million rumors out there, so don't bet on it.

Instead of obliterating a captured city, you could 'pilage and rape' the city. All city improvements are destroyed, but there is a population boom for 6 years (and your unit that does it get +1 morale and +1 hornyness ).
University Base pilaged and raped by The Hive. MAJOR pop boom expected in 9 months!
