Finally, a thread comes along that brings some of those rarest of critters out of the woodwork, and it vanishes! Not dropped of the bottom due to lack of interest, but GONE! As a Firaxis customer and first-day purchaser of SMAC (at full retail) I DEMAND that this thread be restored. You owe it to us all!!!

Thue I have noticed that ever since the great crash a few weeks ago, new threads would pop up that had started since my last visit and they would be moarked as read.
I think that it must be distortion caused as Yin Quantumly leaps from thread to thread.

What happened to Nell! is she gone too? First they got dbrodale, took out his whole computer with a probe disguised as Win 98 and now Nell is gone too.
Come to think of it I never did see Nell and dbrodale posting at exactly the same time...

I can think of 4 of Nell's threads that have disappeared. Looking back over the past 20 days there is only one of her threads that is still there....
We may have to see if Singularity can solve this for us...

I'm pretty sure people on FIRAXIS knows all the faults of the forums allready. Enougth people should have e-mailed them allready.

I think Singularity could solve it for us. He damn well would keep them all at the top of the list. All you would have to do is say Yin is hiding in there. He would be there 24/7 waiting for Yin to show up.

(which is quite a miraculous thing to do on a British May Bank Holiday weekend... for some reason the traditional monsoon downpour gave it a miss this year!!)... Actually Nell, I think you sabotaged your own threads. You wanted your threads to die, so all the other girls would disappear. Leaving only the techno goddess to be the sole female on the SMAC forums. Thus getting extra attention for speaking out for the whole female community (umm, ok, nevermind that, that may just fall on deaf ears. ). You also get all us guys fawning over you asking where you went for 2 or 3 WHOLE days, and what happened to the your threads, which gives you more recognition. I think doing that was immature Nell. I accuse you of sabotaging your forums so you could get a little love from us guys on the forum.

Nell... I knew the damn song was familiar. My friend who plays drums only listens to classic rock.. that is it. Oh yeah, and 311. Where is my gun when i need it? I like Pink Floyd, its just after one hears the very same album 20 times in a row, it gets repeditive. Especially when he gets ****ed up, all he wants to do is rent the Wizard of Oz and play the Wall along with watching the movie. David Bowie was pretty good. That is all stuff that wasn't even really in my past, that is stuff before me. So I haven't heard much David Bowie, the stuff I have heard is pretty good though. But overall, I prefer techno.
