Well, not so much a muslim curse as basically an order to kill them. So the Fatweh on Salmon Rushdie's head means any muslim who finds him should (theoretically) kill him dead. Yes, there will be a quiz on this! |

But isn't a Fatweh good only for as long as the ISSUER is alive? Like the Fatweh on Salmon Rushdie is over since it was the Iyatolla Commanhe (sp) that issued it. -Darkstar |

No, a fatwah is good until the guy it is agains (Rushdie) is dead. With Rushdie it is different because Iran's new president called off the fatwah. Unfortunately for Rushdie, some of the crazier Muslim groups have refused to acknowledge this. |
