Is there a way to play without all the factions on a random map. Sometimes I want to play a quick game with less than 6 factions? Should have been an option in the new game menu.

WARNING. . .UNTRIED THOUGHTHow about starting the game as usual. . .then go into the cheat menu and eliminate the factions you want to. . . |

December Man:Presumably you mean the scenario editing menu? Yeah, that would probably work, but any use of that menu "Will be reflected in your final score". I don't know exactly what they do, but it can't be good. Still, a perfect fix if you're not worried about score (which, sometimes, I'm not.) |

You can START building a scenario, then put only the colony pods for the factions you want.Of course that way you would know the other factions starting point. Unless you ask someone else to prepare the scenario for you. And I didn't actually try it, so I can't say if any problem may arise with that. At least you shouldn't get the "CHEATED!" tag in your score. MariOne |

Darkstar, there's an impostor !!(Maybe the one who made you register as DarkStarr on Apolyton - Starr, like Kenneth ?) Hmmm. A battle of Dark stars. Now that would be a nice show Aredhran (No offense, DarkStar95 )

Mose: Yep, that's the way to go.- Create your game as usual - toggle scenario editor - remove whatever factions - save as scenario (CTRL+F7 I think) - exit scenario editor - from main menu, start scenario Et voil ! Aredhran
