Topic: "Unflagged" Probe Teams:(

Text from patch 2.0 readme: "Probe teams are now "unflagged", meaning you cannot easily tell who controls the team." I've just made a scenario and checked this. Finding out the allegiance of a probe team is as "hard" as pressing Shift-Right. IMHO when a gaming company says that there's a feature in a patch, it should be there. Unless of course this bug exists only in the UK version. Does it? LoD

Nope. US version, 3.0, same ****. The only thing that disappeared is the actual colored flag above the unit icon, but the "SHIFT+RIGHT CLICK" description still shows who it belongs to.Shame. Aredhran |

umbra1: I've run a hotseat game to check this. You know what - it does . Are you thinking what I'm thinking: Player1 (no allusions - honest ): "Now, that wasn't *MY* Probe Team!" Player2: "Yes it was! I checked it with Shift+Right!" P1: <gulp> P2: *launches a mass PB attack to wipe P1 out of the face of Chiron*Firaxis: Please, fix this bug - you'll save an untold number of (virtual) lives! LoD

And while they're fixing that, I'd like to be able to see my allies' probe teams. I hate attacking a probe team just to find out it was a friendly. |

Unless they are going to just NOT display them, put the blooming shield back on them and get over it. I dislike being forced to run my cursor over a probe team to see if its my Buddy and Ally Morgans, or that dispecable and Enemy of the People, Lal.Come on Firaxis!
