Damn, I just had the most pointless conversation with my friend over the existance of God. He started reading the bible and now thinks he knows all of the answers to such questions. He claims there is no evidence to back up evolution, and when I ask him a question he can't answer, (I.E, why do bad things happen to good people) he turns to his all-purpose comeback, "Go read the bible".

I guess the response should be "give me chapter and verse". After all if he thinks the answer there, then he ought to be able to point to it.

Hit him round the head with a fossil.
It may not prove evolution but should relieve the frustration
