YYYH and Spink get banned from All Gamestats because they were mocking one Gamestat forum while simultaneously advirtising another Gamestat forum. Why would Gamestat get so angry when they weren't really damaging them too badly? If anything, they should be banned from the Ages forum only. That is where they were flaming. Why were they banned from the SMAC forum and the others as well?
Also why aren't the racists being banned? I haven't read any of it, but I have to figure that would they be saying stuff considerably more offensive than YYYH and Spink ever did.

We got banned, that's right.
Markos and Dan are like sycophants to the Big Brother Gamestats. There is nothing on their website saying you will get banned for life just for complimenting another website on a forum. What a joke and a disgrace.

Timexwatch- it doesn't even begin to provide a satisfactory explanation. This action is the most ridiculous I have ever seen perpetrated by a forum administrator. Expressing a preference for another forum earns a ban while making repeated posts of highly offensive anti-semitic propaganda, or blatant white supremacist tracts, appears to be tolerated.
It's not just a questionably move- it's a disturbing one. What sort of arseholes are running the forum? A bunch of publicity-phobic klansmen?

It looks like Gamestats didn't see what happened previous to the "invasion", which is why "Nazi" views were "tolerated". Simply, Markos and Dan were fine for freedom of speech to continue, but Gamestats weren't. At Gamestats request, they are now having to moderate so much more.
Blacktide was banned for two weeks simply for being aggressive in one of his posts, I have heard.
