Love it, except I haven't been able to get past the Chinese scenario. Following the advice in the strategy guides gets you no where, and you start getting deep into the red(No pun intended) after a year or two and then you can't make any improvements.(Since you can't sell stock, issue bonds, etc.)If you got advice on how to get past the first couple of years I'm all ears. Love the games though, lot's of variation and levels of difficulty. |

I have only played the demo, and I think it's great, but I can't even beat Scenario :The golden age without typing ctrl+c. |

RRT2 is a lot of fun, although for some reason it lacks the charm of the original, clunky graphics and all. Perhaps it was the novelty of the original, or perhaps it was the gameplay, which was easy enough to learn quicky, and difficult enough to make it challenging. RRT2 has a steeper learning curve, especially as far as the stock market goes. I still cannot effectively buy on margin, and I cannot seem to compete with the computer-operated railroads, who make fistfuls of cash with even a weak network of stations. |

Why is this topic titled "A Sid Meier Review" if Sid had nothing to do with the program itself.... |
