Ok, this is a little wierd, but every forum I've been to uses the same basic Madonna Park, Inc. system. All of them have the same basic design and usage, execpt SMAC's, which is pretty much bare-bones.

Haven't you seen non-UBB "forums"? In general, they suck.

Yeah. Reverse-thread forums are hell when posted on by more than a few people- pretty soon posts are streching all the way off to the right side of the screen, and the menu bars and general website stuff has to load with every single post. If your forum has any kind of traffic at all...

There are better forums then UBB, but they all cost a lotz of money, so everybody uses UBB. Even i got UBB source code, but still havent found a server that is willing to host my forum (and nothing to put on it NEway)
And now i think i'm going to make a litle smiley test (please ignore my post from now on)

I like this setup. The only thing this place needs to make it equal to the true UBB is a Post Editor. I want to fix spelling errors here already.
