Ah De-ja Vu (?).The explanation I've read was that the knowledge that you've seen/heard/whatever the situation before, can follow more than one path through your brain until it reaches where-ever it has to get before YOU become aware of it.
Don't ask me to define what YOU are please.
So far so good ?
OK then the sensation following path 1 can reach this destination slightly quicker than the sensation following path 2.
When the path 1 info reaches the destination it registers with YOU.
When the path 2 info reaches the destination the destination 'says' I've had this info before somewhere/sometime/somehow.
Thus you experience de-ja vu.
