I'm here every weekday and sometimes weekends as well. On weekdays I'm only online after 7 PM and more often later than that. I usually come here about 9-10 AM (GMT+1) and stay for hours! HELP!!! I read every post, even those I don't find interesting. Damn this vacation! I have too much free time.

I read these every day and post a bit in non smac. I also read the other sections of this forum too and reply but most posts I make are in game section. And I also read at Firaxis and post occasionally and read Apolyton but dont post there. I cant understand all the hatred that goes on over there in off topic.

The "hate" thing over at Apolyton is way over exagerated.
Its like about 4-5 nut balls who actually get pleasure about posting stuff like "Why genocide is good" and "Why nazis should rule the world".
Ans some of them are actually the same person with a different login anyway. Sick huh?
The reason they go on so much is because people who are bored and stupid actually entertain their deluded fantasies by replying to those threads. (but most of those people are 14 yr olds who dont know any better)
As for the Admin, I really have nothing bad to say about them. A bunch of us started asking MarkG for a new forum to put all story threads and they did if for us in about a week. Thats pretty damn good as far as I can see.
Just because a few morons start mucking around with things like html and java (Hi Ambro! ) and the admins react is no reason to start hating them.
All in all, I think you get a better experience at Apolyton. (which is closed for maintenance right now ) Just ignore the hate threads (unless thats your thing) and you should enjoy the place.

I check frequently, though maybe not every day. I've been looking over the BOTF forums on Sidgames, and I'm coming to the conclusion that there are way to many people who need to get a life! Why get into a flame war over who has the DS9 license, and what that means?
