Man, those feathers get annoying...

That's why I use three pillow covers. The first one will catch the majority of feathers. The second one is the shield. Very rarely will any get through to the third, which is what I sleep on.

Brann's result is a strong one considering the club's problems off the pitch. The company is heavily in debt and close to bankrupcy. The chairman resigned and they'bve just lost a trial against the former manager.

Sweden beat Ghana 2-0 (Womens WC) Yohoo!! And we will meet Norway in the quarter final (my guess: Sweden 2 Norway 1)

Well, Sweden had problems with Ghana and didn't play well, while Norway beat Japan comfortably 4-0. We'll see. Both Sweden and Norway are kind of rebuilding their teams and have got a lot of new, young players in lately. Norway vs. Sweden is always going to be a tight match in women's football. Norway's got the upper hand in, say, the last ten to twelve years or so .

well, your comment on protection implies copulation.
since most copulation takes place on a bed of some sort, and all beds have pillows, and most couples discuss most things in bed at night (or they do on tv and such), it's pillow-talk!

Yeah I know, but Sweden is rested and have a craving for medals (and wants revenge for last time ). It�s always easier to be the under-dog, but we�ll just have to wait and see won�t we ?

Hoping to see a great USA vs. Norway rematch.

USA are huge favourites to win the title, it would take a lot for anybody to beat them on home turf (?). I'm not convinced that Norway will beat the Chinese either, but a Norway vs. USA final would be exiting .

Well that went as well as can be expected I suppose... Ah well, we�ll set our sights for the olympics in Sydney 2000 (if we did get there I�m not sure...)

Yes, Sweden qualified for the Olympics. The 7 best quarterfinalists in this World Cup + the hosts Australia qualifies. The unlucky quarterfinalist was Russia. Actually you can thank Sweden's last minute goal against Norway for that, had they lost 0-3 Sweden would have been out of the Olympics.

As far as I know, they're all US-born (unlike your men's team ). In women's football the rest of the world doesn't have a "head start" on the US, so you don't have to "import" players from abroad .

Well, nothing wrong with an impromptu scoccer/football discussion (one of my favorite form of pillow talk).
The US women are going to have their hands full against the excellent China team. I hope our women relax and decide to have fun with the game, rather than starting out so tense and out of sorts. Either way, I'll be delighted to see a great match.
