I got it off an editorial in yesterday's paper, if you must know. My wife was quite annoyed to see me reading it while in my girlfriend's lap, though. But we're sorta passed the point of hiding it*.
In any case, Mr. Ness can go investigate the "capatalism brings out the worst in people" angle now for the TV Newsmagazines. It's a lot more profitable than Congress, I assure you.

Reminds me of the Japanese custom of renting friends and family for weddings and other big functions.
