I think muslims behave appalingly towards women, I think they do not honour human life, having police states, and being willing to kill for their country. They are the most fanatical about abstinence, but they have had some very corrupt relgious leaders as well. I despise Islam, what about you?

I can't say that I hate any faith group, but I DO hate some of the things they do. That extends to more than just Islam, though; extreme fundamentalist Christianity gets me mad, too. I don't ,like ANYONE who seeks to take away my right to believe as I choose.

Well, a lot of people despise religion in general.
I think those who are the fundamentalist type to the point of refusing to allow others freedom to believe do it out of a sense of hatred of themselves and of life in general.
Life is the capacity to act out your own thoughts and such, and fundamentalists won't stand for it, because they think you're supposed to be the mindless twerp of their great leader, which is NOT God, but some demented, hypocritical, and power-hungry person who corrupts the term "faith" to serve himself and his lackeys.
If God and Jesus preached tolerance, a lot more "Good Christians" in America wouldn't be racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.
Same goes for Islam, because Islam is a tolerant religion. It's the Arabic tradition that enforces the attitude towards females. As for the police states in the Arab world, see my comment on the fundamentalist governments above.
And all religions have corrupt leaders. Doesn't anyone remember Jimmy Swaggert or whatever his name was? That "Good Christian Evangelist" spread Anti-semitism and Anti-catholicism, and once had a large following. And all during that time, he went for cheap hookers.

Oh, btw...I dislike fundamentalist societies and fundamentalists in general, no matter what religion they profess to "obey".

The fundamentalist Islamic attitude toward women is really strange, when you consider that in the Koran, no where does it say that a woman must wear a chador/be unseen by men/etc. The Koran is like the Bible. If you look hard enough, you'll find an ambiguous passage to use for your purposes.
