I am here to announce to you a great victory by the armies of the Shu Empire and Fjorxc. In secret we planned a joint attack on the armies of NR. Having been secretly massing half my forces on the Italian border I struck south. Imran being concerned with the Blockade by the SSTA and Fjorxc, was not ready for it. 3 months ago(OOC: Yesterday), While sustaining only minor casualties, I have captured northern italy (OOC: Everything NNW of Bologna). After receiving my transmission of the outcome of my battle Fjorxc waited five days, and then landed his army on North Eastern Ilberia. He captured much of North Portugal, as well as the two North Eastern Provinces of Spain. We are now fortifying our position, and preparing for the counter attack. However, facing as he is two armies in two different directions, I have no doubt of the outcome.
3 months ago(OOC: Yesterday) my scientinsts completed the first prototype of the Anti-aircraft laser. We have begun to place these installations in strategic locations, as well as 3 in northern italy.
El Presidente, I thank you for the loan of your troops. They have maintained only minor casualties. When I have defeated the forces of NR, I would repay with the specs for Anti-Aircraft lasers.

Anyway, I left the thread. Feel free to divide up my territory between whoever. It was just getting too much like "Great Empires".(That thread that was oh so hated by me)

French forces drilling with live ammo on the French border have been placed on high alert and are preapring fo an assault. The bulk of the French navy is sailing out of Ste. Nazaire. heading north.

WAR! A state of WAR has been declared between the New Canadian Confederation and the fascist hordes of New Rome. In conjunction with the military forces of Pickerland, the Allied forces have driven wedges in the outskirts of Il Duce Imran's empire. Pickerland troops currently hold the northwest regions of Italy itself, while NCC troops crossing the Pyrenees have seized northeastern Spain.
In addition, the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) landed near Lisbon today with support from the ships and aircraft detached from the Gibraltar blockade force. A small beachhead was established near the city, but only at the costs of thousands of brave soldiers and many pieces of equipment. However, the NCC forces have taken the offensive, and are pushing towards Lisbon. While fighting will be fierce and likely degenerate into house-to-house warfare, NCC command officials remain confident that Portugal's capital will be liberated within three weeks.

French air squadrons have been seen massing near Laval. A second lareg airfleet at Montpelier has been reinforced. all navy and air squadrons are ready to fight.
The French governemnt demands of Comrade Notsniw Lihcruhc to know what happend to the Brtish monarch when the junta took control of the Anglo-Saxon Federation.
Freedom fighters in Ireland seem to be more active lately, and high level IRA commander have been spotted in Paris.
the French ambassador in Rome has come home "due to personal illness." Most embassy personnel seem to have followed him.
The French ambassador in lansing was last seen entering the not quite top secret command center of Archon Daystar. The French ambassador in Berlin seems to be activly discussing defense matters with the Kal's top advisors.
French forces in Provence and Gascogne are fully mobilized and rumored to be headed South.

OOC: Victor are those in southern France?
I am here to announce that the people of northern italy have come to support my cause. In the recent months since conquering it, I have had my engineers rebuilding the damages done to the cities and homes(damn that was expensive, but we wrecked so it is only right that we pay to repair them). The people have not been harmed, and there has been no looting, pillaging, or raping(I had to put three soldiers to death for breaking these laws, military law, you know). As such the people support and some have even joined mine army. I would offer Imran some liberal terms for peace, surrender your European territory, and retire to morrocco. If you do this I will leave you in peace. Refuse at your own peril.

The national assembly has declared war on the Anglo-Saxon federation.
A massive air assault out of Laval (Mayenne Department, northern France) has cripled British air defnses on the south. Constant air assaults with moderat losses are pounding the coast's defensive fortifications. The French fleet out of Ste. nazaire has begun coastal bombardments. A French landing force has landed on the Isle of Wight and taken it with heavy losses.
The French president has called for the reinstatement of the old British government and the arresting of the junta for various crimes.

This has gotten boring...therefore, the ASE cedes control of all of it bases to the SSTA pro tempore.
To the SSTA: That "pro tempore" clause should be remembered, or it will cause distinct trouble for you.
