"Surfin' bird" by the Trashmen. Although it might be repetetive after a while.Probably something classical, that can go on for 30 minutes without repeating itself? |

Hey, if were talking long music-pieces, how about Mike Oldfield or Tangerine Dream ? Amon Dul II or Yes would also do nicely, thank you very much. |

I like the Baltimora choice, but I'll go with "Fairground" by Simply Red. |

Yeah, I'd have to go for something classical or jazzy, I don't want to listen to words, so if I start hearing speech, I know it's time to wake up.http://mydocsonline.com/TU/373F8ec2FDe268e1 isn't mine, but it's got some good stuff- Minuano and Crossmen '92 (our marching band's show last year, not as good as the pros of course). Minuano is a jazzy thing that the band is doing as part of their show next year (which I won't be around for); Crossmen '92 has a "Save the Earth" theme that will be put up as "Gaian music in Issue III of the Mindworm, if I ever have time. That's got some pretty good tunes in it, though the last piece ("Under the Sun") is rather flaccid for an ending. When we did it, we moved it to the middle, and did Rainforest (second song from the end) last, for much better effect. |

"du hast mich gefragt"Sounds like something you'd hear on a German Death Match server. Actually I was playing against some Germans on Half-Life DM the other day and they totally whipped my arse. Probably thought I couldn't understand their cruel German taunting either. *sob* Anyway I'd like to be put on hold to DUBNOBASSWITHMYHEADMAN by Underworld. The best chilled albumn in the world. |

The music I would like to hear on hold would be anything by Bob Dylan(His long songs are perfect for those long cable office holds)THe music I would inflict on others: If I didn't like them, anything by Yoko Ono. If I did like them, some classical stuff, perhaps Mozart or Bach. Your faithful and obedient servant |

The ideal piece of music would be something to get the brain-dead wasters off the line ASAP. With that in mind I'd probably go for a medley of "Hamburger Lady" by Throbbing Gristle, "Ai, Christus Christus" by Current 93, "Multi-National Corporation" by Napalm Death and a looped recording of the dial tone.

Frodo: So you've got that Record too? I like it. I'd still go for the Trashmen, though, for pure joy. Or, for something more relaxing: "Sukiyaki" buy Kuy Sakamoto. |

I would like to listen to prehaps 'The Planets's or if the wait was long enough Das Niebenlung (sic). I would punish dumb callers by making them listen to Black Laces Greatest Hits. (if they had any!) |

Bishop: Definately agree with you about Yes, but if I hear all of "Close to the Edge" while on hold, I think it's time to hang up. |
