Commies are extreme left, and Nazis are extreme right. They don't get a long. The thing Hitler and Stalin signed wasn't an alliance; rather, it was a treaty of non-agression that gave some time to the Soviets so they could better their Red Army.

'Nazi' is one of the trigger-words that's guaranteed to set people off. I'm sure we can think of many more that cause knee-jerk anger/hysteria; I can think of at least one other that even starts with the letter 'N'. Yes, this thread was intended to be funny; but unfortunately, there are some things which cannot be looked at with humor. The Holocaust, for many, is one of those things. To avoid things like this in the future, maybe we should apply the ol' brain before hitting 'Submit Reply'? (Yes, I'm including myself in this. I really can be a flaming beeeeyotch at times... (G))

Sheng-ji Yang, interesting point about you being a Nazi, this reminds me of a cartoon about the janpanese and Germans becoming allies, it shows a German and a Japanese guy shaking hands with the Japanese guy saying : So now whe not yellow monkeys anymore, but 100% fellow aryans, right ? I think that should clear up the Nazi view of Orientals.
And by the way, how many times do I have to say this on this forum, but the Soviet (Red, Communist) army destroyed the German army in WW2, all the Americans and Canadians did was mop up some leftovers in the west. Just read any decent history book 80% percent of the german army was killed on the EAST FRONT.

If the soviets didn't get our lendlease support and supplies and if Hitler didn't have to tie-up troops defending the west and could send some 1-2 million well armed troops to the eastern front how well would the Russians have done? I don't dispute the war in the east involved large numbers of men and that the Soviet Army did an amazing job in defeating Hitler's forces, but please don't say that the Americans were just "Mopping up" in the west. That's an insult to everyman who gave his life on Omaha beach, or at Anzio, Monte Cassino, battle of the Bulge and all the other battles small and large fought against Hitler's tyranny. And I like to remind you that Soviet forces found it "convient" to halt outside Warsaw to let Hitler destroy the uprising there so the soviets wouldn't have to deal with any opposition forces in Poland.
We should have more Nazis on the forum, They are as easy to make fun of as the Communists.

However, it didn't extend to the rest of the Mongoloid ethnic groups. The Nazis honestly didn't care about the Chinese, the Koreans, the Indonesians, the Vietnamese, etc., because the Japanese didn't - and the Japanese had that same racial superiority complex.
During this period, all pure Japanese citizens were brainwashed into thinking they were the Heavenly Race. This bled into their believing that they deserved an empire, and - VOIL�! they starting acting like the Germans, herding their conquered peoples into brutal work camps, only they didn't get the nice uplifting message, Arbeit macht Frei.

YYYH: i find Mussolini's actions hilarious. I don't find Tojo's or Hitler's. While Hitler in all honesty was a moron, the concentration camps kinda suck all the humor out of it. And Tojo...well, learn some about the Korean Occupation from 1910-1945, and maybe you'll understand.
