Why does no-one on these forums seem interested in cricket? I think, out of the Aussies (who should be) only Brother Greg has shown an interest.

Little representation from cricketing nations, I'd imagine. Americans are genetically incapable of appreciating any game that can last 5 days before ending in a draw, while Europeans can't get over the fact that all-white is last-season's look.
I'm a life-long Somerset supporter and bowler of a mean flipper personally.

The reason there are no Aussies on the SMAC forums talking about cricket is because they are all at the cricket, watching cricket, playing cricket, talking about cricket, catching up on the cricket, seeing cricket on TV, or doing other cricket like activities.
Or they could be doing the above named acitivities, replaced by football, soccer, tennis, rugby, squash, polo, motor racing, horse racing, pigeon racing, pig racing, cockroach racing, racing each other, watching someone else race each other, sport, sport, or at sport, or watching sport.
Did I mention they cound be doing something related to sport?

It's football. Get your facts straight And saying Australians "play" it is a bit optimistic

I meant 'talk' as in actual talk not cyber talk.
And yes, aussies are no good at soccer (brits read: football) but that doesn't stop them from assimilating it into their sport madness.

Argh! Why, oh why isn't cricket popular in my country? Well, I know why, but I haven't watched cricket on TV since 1993 ! I'm starving(?) from lack of cricket!!! I think I'll better buy myself a satelite dish.
