Excellent the Green Party is supported by 2.6% of poll takers. My scores on the political quiz: 40/40 |

Never muchlikes this on: Scored 70/40, which puts me on the border between left liberal and moderate. Not sure you'd guess that from the socialism threads, eh? |

I don't read those much anymore. Though I did see myself as Left-Liberal not so long ago. My 40/40 is well under the 72/42 of the average Green Partyer. |

Moderate. My philosophy agrees more with Authoritarians, though. |

Moderate. But my philosophy is all over the board. Which means, I am above it or below it, past it and before it. Too bad it's not 3 dimensional. |

Your Personal Self-Government Score is 100%. Your Economic Self-Government Score is 0%. I am a Left Liberal. About what I expected. Shame I don't get a vote because I'm from the UK. |

100% 100% Always knew I was a libertarian. DOn't want to go back the site now but who was responsible for the quiz? Given the high percentage for the Libertarians could it have been them? Hmmmm. |

60/80 Who is Steve Forbes anyway? I've never heard of him. Noisy |

Son of Malcom Forbes, founder of Forbes magazine. Ran in 1996 and had a fair to middling following. Big plank was privatizing Social Security. |

"Big plank was privatizing Social Security." Wasn't his big plank a Flat Tax? |

Both were, IIRC. Damn shame he didn't win. I've turned out libertarian. Funny, I thought I'd be more conservative... |

*snort* It pegged me as a Libertarian, too. I admit that if you hit me on the /right/ issues that makes sense, but I am overall definitely a moderate (though I used to be a screaming liberal, heh). I was wondering about the tons of ads for Libertarian stuff greeting this. Did those getting other categories get those? I bet not. I think it would be /interesting/ if Forbes ended up as President, but I wouldn't vote for him. I sort of like the flat tax idea, provided it still involves a deduction system, but it's the /only/ thing he has going for him. I wouldn't vote for him. Probably. I vote for anyone who is neither a Demopublican or a Republicrat, as a general rule, with a few exceptions for particular candidates (and when I don't have another choice). And I'm a rabid voter. |

90%/90%. Big Surprise as I am already registered as a Libertarian. The 1996 version of Forbes was intriguing, but the 2000 version sounds scary, considering his aggressive attmepts to ingratiate himself with the religious right. The last time I voted for a "big party" candidate was in 1988. I have voted Libertarian since then, since the Democratic Party's fiscal views repulse me, and the GOP's social views (at least from the right wing of the party) nauseate me. There are a few libertarians in each party (much more so in the GOP than with the Democrats), and I would support them if they ran in my district. Unfortunately, my district is so solidly Democratic that my congressman doesn't even campaign any more, as he has no opposition... |

I think Forbes would've made a good president, though I'd say Bush is a good choice, considering I haven't heard Forbes' new platform. |

Forbes tax reform would have expanded the deficit. To get around this he would cut programs. I'm sure this can be done, but I don't trust a Republican to do it. |
