well the obvious choice is a computer with a magical-never-ending baterry with SMAC and Civ2 on it... just imagine how fast the years would go by

otherwise i'd take a magical genie... free him or her from the lamp, and we'd have fantastical adventures just like in Alladin.

Music - arrange a contract with SubPop, that I get all of their new and old relieses and everyother indie (or not so indie) record label. Modest Mouse / 764-Hero etc.

Food: hmm... i'd bring an Azugal Hunter self cooking kit 2000. it's preset with 2000 different ways of preparing Azugal (and all of their subsidiaries i.e. Oozugal)

A personal object: 5000 pencils. 10000 pieces of paper. 3 sharpeners. (Summed up under the term "pen and paper" i.e. one object.)

Some Music: a satelite-based radio, driven by cranking it up. (Hey they exist). That way I'd get all the music I want.

Some Food: A huge stash of Sweets. I can get everything else there.

A random object: 3 elephants.

I'd take a fingernail clipper (gotta keep those fingernails down, ya know!), a grand piano which i would teach myself to play for music, a lifetime supply of steamed shrimp dumplings and a nice girl.

Personal Object: The remaining population of the planet Earth.
Music: All copies of all works by Buck Owens, and a device that never ceased playing them.
Food: The remaining world supply of Spam.
Random Object: A boat, so I can maroon all previously mentioned objects on the island. I'd probably have to stack the people up so they'd all fit.

If I had no chance of getting off I'd only bring a tactical nuke. It would make me happy to know that I would take some palm trees out with me when my boredom overcomes my will to live.
