What the hells the point, we are all soon going to die! The messages will be deleted and nobody will have ever been better off. We are not changing the world, people.

Maybe it doesn't change anything but it doesn't mean the discussions aren't worthwhile. People can remember things they have discussed here long after the forums are deleted. I've learnt stuff here, which is a good enoug reason to take part.
If your point is we shouldn't take it too seriously, I agree entirely.

I found out about the CivIII suggestion threads through this forum, and through them I might make a difference.
Plus, this has been a battle-testing ground for many many debates I will participate in later- like tommorow in class. And I can steal the combined wealth of knowledge here for me. Muahaha!

We don't blame you for not already knowing this, but, believe it or not, the forums' purpose is to generate energy sufficient enough to keep everyone on Earth alive and well. The more posts, the greater Earth's chance of survival. So, in fact, what we write contributes a whole lot.

I think the real point of these forums is to encourage us to think more deeply about the things we believe, so that we can defend them against the other unbelievers. There is always the posibility one thread might change your mind too, but don't hold your breath waiting.
Anyway, who says you don't take your experiences with you when you die ?

Gary, I for one believe that you don't take them with you, cuz I believe that you don't go anywhere. You are ended, and your body rots. Sure gives me a lot to look forward too, hm?
Incidentally, my opinion on Reagan changed while reading these posts. I now think that he had some good ideas, instead of being a worthless terrorist aiding alzhimer's patient. So they HAVE contributed to something.

Yea, I like to post/read here for the humor value too. I need all the humor I can get. There is a lot of funny stuff here and, hopefully, others have found some of my stuff funny too. One day I may slip and post something serious, though.
