What's this game I keep hearing about?? I don't know much about it. Does someone have any information about it?
Here are some screenshots from it
Looking at the screenshots I must say that it looks a little bit "messy"..
So what do you think, can it compete whit the ever so great Alpha Centauri???

It's like CivII on steriods, there are 3 different "planes" you can build on, but essentially it's the exact same gameplay as CivII.

The three different planes are classic civ2, sci-fi (a bit like SMAC), and fantasy(this is where it gets interesting).
The fantasy world game is based on the books by J. R. R. Tolkien. You can play any of the race of the books ( Hobbits, elves,...). It seems it will be good.
The three different planes will have three different technology tree.
The game should be out sometime this summer. It's by Microprose.

Relly J.R.R Tolkien? That seems to be interesting. You don't happen to know any good preview sites??? I'd like to learn more about this interesting game. Why are they allowed to call it Civilization by the way? I thought that name belonged to Activision, or now Firaxis???

Had a quick look at this game-don't ask how and i must say that you should forget about it.
This game sux and it sux alot.
Graphics are crap..the gameplay is almost the same as at Civ2..and it doesn't offer nothing you'd find even remotely interesting after playing SMAC
This is my personal oppinion afcourse.
