The evil dictator MarkG just banned me from his off-topic forum. Read it all here Ambro2000 disabled he he he he I promise you that half of the people in here would be banned for life if we used the same type of postings we use here over at Apolyton Luckely for me I'm only banned for a week I guess that MarkG gets a real hardon when he is abusing his power Please make a protest list over there Ambro2000 |

I'm sorry but I cannot resist flaming your ass outta here. I did not read your self titled thread but rather another one by Albert. Then I had to sit through that **** 4 ****ing times you ****ed up bucket of ****. Why make it happen 150 times? Just a few dozen would have been MORE than enough. By the third time round I considered switching my computer off just so I could get away from it. You are lucky that Mark is so generous as to let you back in at all. All html was turned off thanks to you anyway so we all have to suffer. ****en stupid dickhead Do something useful with your spare time. |

I am afraid that I will have to agree with Alphaman... These HTML "tricks" are getting a little old. Someone hide Ambro2000's "HTML for Dummies" book please! |

Ambro2000: Did you steal the jscript from my thread? Or did you modify it some? This is just too funny for words and points out how plain stupid people can be when they are angry. You can buzz through 150 alerts in about a second if you keep your enter key pressed. I can just imagine some idiot flicking off his computer because he thinks he has to click his mouse 150 times. This is too precious. MarkG is way over-reacting. It's off-topic for heaven's sake. We should create a "Diabolical Javascript Contest" for creative jscript like this. |

Dan, regarding your html tricks: The auto-repeat of the enter-key didn't work with those javascripts for me. Also, when through it started all over again - that was the work of your follow-up posters if I see it right (by viewing the thread in Netscape composer). Still, I could switch to other windows and kill the thing via ctrl-alt-del, and I enjoyed the nonsense massages... so I can't see a reason to be really pissed off. |

Space Bar = Enter Key as well. I did think sitting through the damn thing 3 times was a bit much, but only one was of my doing. Pandora lives, unfortunately. I think "testing" in the topic title was ample warning, though. I think this is a riot. Aman is such an idiot, because he comes in here polluting this forum with his wretched refuse posts and offensive profile and then he starts complaining about a silly but funny javascript. Aman, you're such a dumb s.hit. You made my day (still laughing). |

Ambro2000: alas, I can't take credit for this little gem... The originator of this script is http://www.angelfire.com/on/guamchat/friendship.html. I think the name of the page is downright delicious. "Friendship"? That's funny! You don't think I actually would have spent the time to do that do you? |

F I suggest you do the following: (1) Register under a new name, and "post-bomb" the most interesting threads ( la Singularity). (2) Next, "Thread-Bomb" the forum. 500 empty threads saying "Come to the SMAC Forums" should bug the hell out of MarkG. (3) Send him a stream of abuse and insults via e-mail. |

DanS: Well it seems a new wanker has popped his head up. At least Ambro could take it in good humor. But it seems you are just a total cock sucking dickhead. I held the f.ucking key down you dips.hit and it didn't work. You must be a total retard if you think I would sit there and click 600 times. Why don't you just put the 101 computer tricks book down and get a f.ucken life you moron. Dickheads like you give computer users a bad name. Since you are laughing so much you must be a total knob considering its not funny in the least. Why don't you go and post your wanker bullcrap somewhere else before I come round and put your head up your ass. |

Oh and in case you think I'm the only one pissed at the Ambro's trick, why don't you get your ass over to Apolyton and see how far you get there, you asshole. |

Alphaman, I'm confused. You go to a topic with "testing" in the title and complain when it does something you don't like. And to all those who were annoyed by my consistent alerts afterwards, that was in the hope that no-one would visit anymore and just ignore the thread. John III |

"Why don't you just put the 101 computer tricks book down and get a f.ucken life you moron." Because I have never read such a book. Aman, You attempt to make up in vitriol what you lack in wit. You attempt to substitute curse words for sufficient vocabulary. You attempt to substitute slander for good humor. In short, no wit, no education, no humor. Why are you here? Why do you post? What do you get out of it? It doesn't seem like you're having fun or getting on well with anybody. I can think of no other reason than you are doing it to amuse me. Thank you, you have been successful. |

Ctrl-Alt-Del... is there anything it can't do? Good, I rest my case. |
Frodo83 |
posted 05-30-99 12:46 PM ET
It was kinda funny. And it wasn't hard to escape. ctrl+alt+del was all I had to do. I don't know what the big deal is. But I'm wondering, DanS, why did you post it? |
Alphaman |
posted 05-30-99 01:29 PM ET
What are you, my mom? A psychologist? Get over the ego trip dude. The whole world is not about you. To others - Since I was on a terminal at a university library I did not think C+A+Del was really an option. The librarians don't really appreciate you rebooting their systems. |
JohnIII |
posted 05-30-99 03:53 PM ET
Eh? You don't reboot it by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete, you just select "End Task" and close IE down. Dolt. John III |
DanS |

"Get over the ego trip dude." Huh? "But I'm wondering, DanS, why did you post it?" I don't know. I thought it was funny in a diabolical but harmless sort of way and I wanted to see which tags UBB stripped out. But I did put "testing" so I think it was fair warning. I'll let others judge the humor involved by the Albert Speer stuff, but why people get worked up over Ambro2000's little prank is beyong me. It's not like these forums are debate team. |

OK yea whatever. Fine. You got me. I'm not a computer whizz like all of you. But I don't really care. Go on make funny little error messages. It really doesn't bother me. [sarcasm] IN FACT - that is a really cool way to be funny, win friends, impress neighbours, teach little Timmy new tricks, etc etc... [/sarcasm] |
Roland |
posted 05-31-99 05:52 AM ET
Well, I think it's a fair assumption that anyone who has _ever_ had anything to do with windows, simply _has_ to know the effect of ctrl-alt-del. Also, did switching to a different task not work, AMan ? See it postive: next time such a thing happens, you know what you can do. "Testing" in the title is a clear indicator of "beware, some ****ing html crap may cause trouble". |
