Ah yes, is the 27th letter of the Norwegian alphabet. You can also find it in the Danish, Icelandic and Faeroese alphabets. In addition Norwegian has and .As for my favourite I really never thought about it. Maybe $ or , hehe.

Argh. I now stand up and bear the mark of shame. Why couldn't I think of those before! Ah well. I now will dedicate the rest of my life for a search for the remaining words.Well, maybe not. But I can dig up ye old dictionary and find some stuff there, for all words lucky enough to start with ... and there are some other obvious ones we forgot, especially from Greek mythology. geis (Really good armor Athena wore, and a missile defense system) olus (God of Winds) dmon (old name for a demon) gean (the Sea south of Greece) neas (guy in the Aenead who runs from Troy and founds Rome) olipile (thing Hero built and is always mentioned as predeccesor to jet engine) on (even longer than an eon) sir (Norse God/Gods) sculpas (guy Socrates owed a chicken to) I only posted words I recognized (those are my definitions, not the dictionary), and was pretty sure had the dipthong in them. For folks at home trying this, anything starting with aero (aerodynamics, aerobic) doesn't work, look for the a (with the accent to the right of the e) for probable candidates. I now post a reward of (something vauge but tantalizing) for any caught, archaic or alive. Let the hunt begin! |

"neas (guy in the Aenead who runs from Troy and founds Rome)"Wouldn't that be nead? Also, gis was a shield, not a suit of armor, IIRC. |
