If you learned that SMAC was being made in indonesian sweatshops by people earning little or no money, and BR was getting rich off of it, would you boycott Firaxis?

I don't agree with the premise of your question. Nike doesn't run sweat-shops and pays its employees relatively well for the areas in which it operates. Not that we wouldn't want to keep our eye out for this sort of thing...
If I found out that Firaxis was exploiting little children in far off lands, I would probably be more inclined to pirate it (it is a good game, after all).

The "air" in nike air shoes is SF6, a very powerfull greenhouse gas.

Oh? And it's employees don't get beaten with sneakers? And can't support their families on Nike's Wages (even single-person households)? And don't get fired at any sign of unionising or pregnancy? Of course not.

Yes, I heard that Nike got a real good deal on those kids after Cathy Lee's little enterprise was shut down

DanS: There was this documentary on TV about poor female workers in a Thai Nike factory. About the awful living and working conditions (Some of the things above where in it). They since discontinued the contract with that factory, I think.
